Real Betis forward Antony has revealed he is happy with life in Spain after joining La Liga on loan from Manchester United.
The Brazil international has struggled at Old Trafford, scoring just 12 goals and providing five assists in 96 appearances for the club since joining in 2022, but has scored four goals and provided four assists in 11 appearances for Betis.

“The most important thing is that I have found myself again,” he began. “I am happy to be enjoying myself every day. Things go well when we are happy, content.
“I was playing little, but I have been working a lot. I needed to be happy with myself. The best version of being happy with myself is the most important thing.
“The city is great, it’s better (than Manchester) and it’s very good,” Antony said. “I’m very happy here and the sun helps a lot. Every day at noon you wake up, you listen to yourself, I go to bed with a smile on my face, that’s the most important thing for me.”
Antony’s debut 2022/23 season at United saw him record 11 goal involvements before five and then one in the next two campaigns.
Currently, in addition to Real Betis wanting to buy Antony outright, Real Sociedad is also rumored to be interested.
