Ousmane Dembele insisted he was not seriously injured after being substituted in Paris Saint-Germain’s 1-0 win at Arsenal in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday. The
27-year-old scored the winner in the fourth minute and it was the only goal of the game to give PSG the advantage going into Wednesday’s return to Paris.
Dembele has been in red-hot form this year, having been directly involved in 30 goals in 2025, the most of any player in Europe’s top five leagues.
However, the France forward was forced off with a hamstring injury in the 70th minute and with just eight days left before the crucial game at the Parc des Princes, PSG fans were left anxiously waiting.
